Department for Housing and Architectural Policy, communal activities and energy efficiency
In the Department for Housing and Architectural Policy, communal activities and energy efficiency, there are activities related to: housing and architectural policy in the sense of preparing and proposing strategic, legal and other measures for sustainable development of housing and development of architectural policy through improvement of the quality of the built environment; development and monitoring of the implementation of regulations regulating housing, utilities, energy efficiency, and construction products; harmonization of laws and regulations with the acquis communautaire and other relevant international acts related to the realization of housing rights and services of general interest; preparation of proposals for improvement of the situation in the field of architectural activity, energy efficiency and construction products and harmonization of the national legal framework with the acquis in these areas; identification of strategic and action documents in the field of housing, architectural policy and urban development; providing professional assistance to local self-government units in the field of housing, communal activities and implementation of housing and architectural policies; monitoring the development and application of international standards, norms and indicators in the field of housing, improvement of the quality of the built environment, energy efficiency and construction products; analysis of infrastructure needs and planning and drafting of the local communal infrastructure program proposal; cooperation and communication with international development and financial institutions involved in financing local communal projects; coordination of the activities of the participants in the projects of local communal infrastructure; other operations from the scope of the Sector.
