Department for Road Traffic Inspection

In the Department of Road Traffic Inspection, the following tasks are performed: inspection supervision over the enforcement of laws, other regulations and general acts in the field of internal and international road transport and transport; taking administrative and other measures; submitting a request for the initiation of a misdemeanor procedure and for reporting due to a commercial offense or a criminal offense; monitoring the status and occurrence of significance for the realization of legality and undertaking initiatives for appropriate amendments to laws and bylaws; supervision over the work of the provincial administration bodies in the performance of entrusted tasks from the scope of the Department, as well as other tasks from the scope of the Department.


The tasks from the scope of the Department for Road Traffic Inspection are performed at the Ministry's headquarters and in:

1. A regional unit larger than the administrative district area for Kolubarski upravni okrug, based in Valjevo;

2. A regional unit larger than the area of ​​the administrative district for Podunavski and Braničevski upravni okrug, with its headquarters in Pozarevac;

3. A regional unit larger than the area of ​​the administrative district for Rasinski upravni okrug, with its headquarters in Krusevac.

4. A regional unit larger than the area of ​​the administrative district for Zajecar and Borski upravni okrug, based in Zajecar;

5. District branch office for Zlatibor Administrative District, based in Uzice;

6. District branch office for Pomoravski upravni okrug, headquartered in Jagodina;

7. District branch office for the Moravica Administrative District, with its headquarters in Cacak;

8. District Regional Unit for Raska Administrative District, headquartered in Kraljevo;

9. A regional unit larger than the area of ​​the administrative district for Nisavski and Pirot administrative districts, with headquarters in Nis;

10. A regional unit larger than the area of ​​the administrative district for Jablanica and Toplica Administrative District, headquartered in Leskovac;

11. a regional unit larger than the administrative district area for the Pcinj and Kosovo-Pomoravlje administrative districts, with headquarters in Vranje;

12. A regional unit larger than the area of ​​the administrative district for the Sumadijski upravni okrug, based in Kragujevac.
