Department for Inspection Affairs of Civil Engineering and Urban Planning

In the Department for Inspection Affairs of Civil Engineering and Urban Planning, there are tasks related to: inspection supervision in the field of construction and use of buildings of importance for the Republic; drafting and forwarding administrative acts within the competences prescribed by law; supervision of inspection activities in the construction and use of buildings that are entrusted to local self-government units; monitoring of laws and other regulations from the scope of the Department and initiation of changes thereof; inspection supervision over the application of the law regulating spatial planning, urban planning and construction; control of adopted spatial plans, urban plans, urban projects, changes in the situation in the area; supervision of inspection activities in the construction and use of buildings that are entrusted to the Autonomous Province and units of local self-government, as well as other activities from the scope of the Department.
