Financing:
RS Budget for Critical Sector "Kamicak", "Sabac" "Sremska Mitrovica" and "Klenak". 50% of the funds needed for the performance on the critical sector "Delta of River Drina and Sava" are provided on the basis of the Financial Agreement for the Development of River Transport Infrastructure between the Republic of Serbia and the European Investment Bank, while for the remaining 50% we will apply for the funds from WBIF.

Significance of the project:
The realization of the project will increase the safety of navigation and the greater volume of traffic on Sava River. The project includes riverbed dredging and construction of hydro technical facilities in order to provide the prescribed waterway gauges for 265 days a year regardless of the water level.
Project status:
- In November 2017, works on the arrangement of the first critical sector "Kamicak" on Sava River from km 87 to km 83 were completed. The works included riverbed dredging in order to provide the prescribed waterway gauges.
- From July to November 2018, 65% of works on the arrangement of the critical sector "Sabac" were completed, which included riverbed dredging on Sava River from km 100.500 to km 99.100, in order to achieve the optimal gauge of the waterway in terms of the required navigable depths and width. Excavation of the Sabac sector is planned in September 2018.
- In the course of 2019, the remaining works will be carried out in the sector "Sabac", and in 2020, works on the arrangement of critical sectors in Sremska Mitrovica and Klenko will be carried out.
