Construction of the collector for water waste collection in Vranje

The aim of the program is to provide and improve the sewage drainage and treatment. In order to improve the overall state of the environment, the rehabilitation of the existing seweage network and the construction of a new one is planned. Upon completion of the program, all water waste will be discharged into the sewage system, and then brought to a water waste treatment plant, where it will be treated as a purified water, to be discharged into the recipient - watercourses. List of contracted shares: Collector Vranjska Banja, Partizanski put street, Przarska street, Kralja Milana and Poljanicka street, Bore Stanković Street - fecal sewage, Bore Stankovica Street - atmospheric sewage.

German-Serbian bilateral cooperation:
Within the framework of the German-Serbian bilateral cooperation, through the KfW program "Water, sewage and sewage treatment program in mid-sized cities in Serbia", significant support is provided for the modernization and construction of water supply and sewage infrastructure.
The goal of the program is to contribute to the efficient use of water resources, to ensure the proper quality and quantity of drinking water for the population and the economy, and to contribute to the protection of the environment through water waste management.
Since the beginning of the program implementation, technical and institutional support has been provided to more than 20 cities in Serbia with a total of 1.6 million inhabitants through five separate programs, out of which more than 245 individual investment projects have been entirely completed or the process is underway. Of the total number of companies involved in the project implementation, 85% are domestic companies. The program throughout its duration also contributes to business improvement, monitor the results and assess the sustainability of the operation of utility companies participating in the project.
